Unfortunately I can't even get the visualizer part to sync with the music at this point. ![]() I might invest in that system at some point, and it would be nice to use it. The Ampify Studio browser makes it easy to find the right loops for you across our extensive catalogue. We work hard to produce high-quality sounds using professional musicians. Does that make sense?Įdit: I was also excited about Ambify's ability to change Phillips "Hue" light systems colors to the beat as well. Ampify Sounds Our label making sounds for you. It perked my interest in getting a screensaver or standalone visualizer that syncs with music coming from an app on my Mac. I've had quite a few people ask if the screen saver is going to the music or not. When I have people over my house I usually run a screen saver while the music is playing. So, what I want is for the music to still play through the TV's Digital audio channel while the visualizer displays on my TV. I have my TV's audio out going to my entertainment center amplifier. I have my MacBook displaying solely on my TV via DisplayPort to HDMI. I want to be able to listen to Spotify on my MacBook Pro and have visualizations to the beat and pitch of the music. Anyone know of an app that does this, or a workaround for Ambify/SoundFlower? I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, missing something, or if Apple just made it impossible to monitor audio from an app. And under NO circumstances does it react to the audio. I am using my MacBook in "Clamshell Mode" plugged into my Toshiba TV via DisplayPort to HDMI cable, and it doesn't seem to let me keep it on the external HDMI audio output when I change the Ambify audio input, or even when I close out of the app. It shows SoundFlower in my audio settings, but selecting it for input or output does nothing. I've tried every setting, and combination thereof. If I change the source (between AirPlay and internal sound), or close the app in Ambify, it switches my audio output to the MacBook speakers, and STILL doesn't respond to the music. I have played around with all the settings. Not the internal source, not the MacBook microphone, nothing. After following their short winded, and somewhat non-existent instructions, I have found that it does not respond to anything. I downloaded the free app, which prompted me to download SoundFlower (to make internal audio sources look like external sources.I'm guessing?). The only one I found that does this (and that isn't from OSX Tiger era) is Ambify. A few clicks and you’re away if you don’t believe us, then try it for yourself (for free). ![]() The pitch shifting ability allows you to make Ampify Sounds’ professional loops personal to you and your musical idea. I have spent the best part of 4 hours trying to find a screensaver, standalone, plugin, desktop background, Visualizer that doesn't require the audio to come from an external source (line in, AirPlay, internal microphone) for MacOS. Use the waveform editor to find the perfect loop within a loop to make each sound your own.
